The Space Between Who You Were and Who You're Becoming

Hi Reader,

There is a sacred, sometimes unsettling, space between who we were and who we are becoming.

This was the theme that emerged in my True Essence group call this week, and it mirrored what I just went through over the past three years.

Many of us are currently navigating a significant identity shift. We are letting go of old roles, feeling like we’re “burning it all down”, and dealing with the noise of old patterns (and people) trying to pull us back into the past.

When these storms hit, the conditioned mind panics. It tries to fix the problem and/or reaches for an old coping mechanism that no longer serves.

We can view the destruction as an invitation.

Whether it's a physical flare-up, a family conflict, or an internal battle with an old habit, these moments are not signs of failure.

They are signs that the old structure is falling away so you can rebuild in alignment with your Soul’s path.

Podcast: Your Soul’s Blueprint

If you are ready to rebuild in alignment with your Soul's path and uncover your specific Soul’s Blueprint, listen to Episode 1 of my Resource Vibe podcast: The Ancient Wisdom of Your Life Blueprint with Gandharva Sauls.

I found Gandharva’s wisdom so helpful that I’m speaking with him again today for a Season One bonus episode. We’ll be diving into the practical follow-up readings he offers after your Blueprint consultation, which also provide continued profound clarity and alignment. Stay tuned!

A Practice to Move from Panic to Peace

To quiet the conditioned mind and move into the new alignment, I’ve been practicing a powerful tool with my True Essence group called Reflective Photography.

It’s simply capturing Essence without curation: releasing the need to create a perfect image and instead following a pure, intuitive pull toward what sparks our attention in the moment.

A Practice for You This Week:

The next time you feel the urge to "figure it all out" or react to an old trigger, stop. Take your phone and photograph the first thing that catches your eye. The light on the wall, a spring flower, a cup of tea.

Then, ask yourself: What is the first intuitive phrase that comes to mind?

Don't let your logical brain answer. Listen for the deeper whisper:

  • "The clearing"
  • "Steady ground"
  • "The spark of life"

This simple act moves you into the Witness. It strengthens your intuition and communication with your Higher Self. By naming your world with intuition instead of logic, you stop performing for your past and start witnessing your future.

Share Your Essence

Reader, I would love to see what Essence you capture when you follow your intuition with your lens.

Reply to this email with your photo and the phrase that came to you! I'll be reading and celebrating every single one.

With love,

Elicia

Hi Reader, In recent weeks, I've emphasized creating space. I spoke about the vital energy that returns when we let go of scrolling for distraction and validation, release the effort of constant self-fixing, and welcome the quiet. This year, I embraced that quiet. After twenty years dedicated to the alchemy of emotional healing, I am currently immersed in a season of deep personal reconnection. I made the choice to unplug from the noise of Facebook and habits that dampened my energy. What I...

Hi Reader, On Tuesday, I asked what boundaries you needed to set right now, whether it was stepping back from social media, letting go of draining relationships, or taking a break from a substance that is no longer serving your body. When we finally set those boundaries and stop numbing or distracting ourselves, we are more present. At first, that quiet space can feel a little uncomfortable. But it is also the exact space where you can connect with your true feelings and essence. When you...

Hi Reader, Last week, I wrote to you about setting a boundary around social media. I’d love to know how that felt for you if you were able to try it. Beyond social media, what else is leaving you feeling out of balance? What do you need to step back from to truly take care of yourself right now? Maybe it looks like: Creating space from people and situations that drain your energy. Continuing to unplug from social media and the constant influx of other people's opinions. Reducing your reliance...
